The City Clerk of the Cochran Municipal Court is Charles Ledbetter.  He is responsible for processing all cases that are presided over by the Municipal Court.

The Cochran Municipal Court oversees all misdemeanor traffic cases, violation of city ordinances and some misdemeanor criminal violations.

The Municipal Court is presided over by Judge Dennis Mullis.

Municipal Court is held on the first and third Friday of each month for pleas, unless it falls on a holiday, at 1:00 PM in the Courtroom inside the Cochran Municipal Building. Trial day is always the fourth Friday of each month. The Municipal Court phone number is 478.934.7776.

Collections Office

The City Marshall for the City of Cochran is also Charles Ledbetter.  He is responsible for the collection of delinquent city taxes, delinquent city utilities, bad checks, and overdue fines from Municipal Court.

The Collections Office is inside the Municipal Courtroom in the Cochran Municipal Building.  Office hours are from 8:00 AM until 5:00, Monday thru Friday.  The office is not open on weekends or holidays.  Office phone number is 478.934.7776.
